Celebration of Independence Day
The Independence Day was celebrated in the Paris on 15th August. After the 7:30 Mass the Parish priest Rev Fr William Menezes unfurled the national flag and all sang the national anthem. As a part of this program 8 retired defence personnel of our Parish were honoured by the Catholic Sabha. The Pariah Priest wrapped them with the shawl and offered flowers. They were Mr. Bernard D’Souza Mr. Leo Menezes, Mr. Robert John, Mr. Francis Pereira, Mr. Denis Rodrigues and Mr. George Borromeo. Fr William Menezes gave a short inspiring message to the gathering and sweets were distributed at the end of the celebration. This program was jointly organised by Angelore Youth Movement and Catholic Sabha.
