The Angelore unit of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh® celebrated its annual day on 4th August 2019. The celebration began with thanksgiving mass at 7.30 am. A cultural programme was held at the Golden Jubilee Memorial Hall in the evening which was attended by the members as well as their families. Mr. Albert Lasrado, the President of the Unit welcomed the gathering. The Secretary, Mr. Roshan Patrao presented the previous year’s report. Rev. Fr. William Menezes, Spiritual Director, urged the members of Catholic Sabha to go beyond the confines of the Church and reach out to all members of the society in order to make the presence of Catholic Sabha felt by the society at large. The stage was also graced by Rev. Fr. Denzil Lobo, Assistant Parish Priest.
Ms. Wencita Dias, winner of the Teen Karnataka 2019 Beauty Pageant was felicitated during the occasion. She expressed her gratitude to Catholic Sabha for the encouragement she received through the annual elocution competitions held Catholic Sabha which became the springboard to her journey towards success.
Various games were conducted by Mr. Edwin Cutinho and Mrs. Jyothi Dias to entertain the attendees. Mr. Felix Moras presented the Vote of Thanks. The programme was compered by Mr. Alwyn D’Souza. The programme concluded with sumptuous dinner.
