Youth are always bubbling with energy and the YCS members of Angelore are no exception. Our YCS members are gifted with talents: playing music, singing, dancing, enacting a play, participating in sports and games; you name it and they have it. Year after year the YCS members of Angelore unit bag the top spot in majority of the events they participate and also the Championship.
On 24th October 2022, Deanery level annual YCS sports meet “Khela Dabazo - 2022” was held at Fermai church. Our bubbling youth secured first place in tug of war and spot dance; first and second place in shot put (male and female); and third place in relay. To top it all, they bagged the overall championship. To celebrate this victory a get-together was held at the church Mini Hall on Tuesday, 1st November 2022 at 7.00 p.m.
The programme started with prayer song by Ankitha and team. Mr. Roshan Patrao, former animator, in his message gave call to the members to listen to their heart more than their head while treading the path of their future. He urged them to pursue their passions like music, signing, sports as well. Primo Saldanha and team sang a song specially composed for Angelore YCS. Ankitha and team also presented a dance. The members also celebrated the birthday of one of its members, Rayan Lobo, which incidentally fell on the same day. Spot games were held to entertain the gathering and prizes were distributed to the winners. Richael Castelino compèred the programme. The get-together concluded with sumptuous dinner and the indispensable baila dance.
