With the commencement of the new academic year, the catechism classes and meetings of the youth, namely, YCS and AYM have resumed. The first meeting of YCS Angelore was held on 11th June 2023 at the Golden Jubilee Memorial Hall after the 7.30 a.m. mass. Thirty-one youth of First and Second PUC attended the meeting. Rev. Fr William Menezes, Parish Priest and Rev. Fr Gerald Pinto, Socius Priest, were present during the meeting. Rev. Fr Pinto urged the students to make good use of the 2-year period offered to them by YCS to develop their personalities.
Rev. Fr William Menezes called upon the students to hone their skills in the 2-year period so that a strong foundation to their future is laid. He asked them to be regular to the meetings and also asked them to bring their peers along for the meetings. He also said that he and the animators are available to them round the clock in times of need.
The election to the office bearers was held during the meeting. The following were elected office bearers for the year 2023-24:
