The new Socius Priest, Rev. Fr Stany Fernandes arrived at Guardian Angel Church from Allipade at 9.15 a.m. on Monday, 10th June 2024. He was accompanied by Rev. Fr Robert D’Souza, Parish Priest of Allipade parish; and former and present Vice Presidents, and Secretary of Allipade PPC.
Rev. Fr Fredrick Monteiro, Parish Priest of Guardian Angel Church and Rev. Fr Gerald Francis Pinto, Socius, welcomed him with garlands. On behalf of the laity, Mr. Pau Rodrigues, Vice President of the PPC; Mrs. Lolina D’Souza, Secretary of PPC; and Ms. Renita Menezes, Coordinator of Parish Pastoral Commissions welcomed Rev. Fr Stany Fernandes with bouquets.
This was followed by a prayer service and a welcoming programme. Addressing the faithful of the parish, Rev. Fr Stany thanked them for the warm welcome. Thereafter the guests and parishioners were served tea and snacks.
