The monthly ward meeting of Nithyadar Ward II was held on 13th November 2022 at the residence of Mr. Vincent Quadras. The ward representatives of the ward for the period 2023-25 were elected during the meeting. Rev. Fr Lawrence Cutinha, Assistant Parish Priest, conducted the election.
Rev. Fr Lawrence Cutinha read the rules pertaining to the election process, following which the election was held. Mrs. Lavina Fernandes and Mr. Dennis D’Souza were elected ward representatives. In addition, Mrs. Savitha Rodrigues was elected Aanj representative, Mrs. Shalet Quadras liturgy secretary, and Mr. Dennis D’Souza was elected Small Christian Community representative.
The ward meeting continued thereafter. The reading from the gospel of St. Luke (Luke 21:5-19) was chosen for reflection. The liturgical responsibilities for the liturgy on December 4 were distributed to the ward members.
