VESPERS ON THE EVE OF THE PARISH FEAST.

Rev Fr. Ivan D’Souza the Professor of St. Joseph’s Seminary, Mangalore conducted and lead the Vespers, on the Eve of the Parish Feast i.e. Feast of Parish Patron Guardian Angel. Fr. Denzil Lobo accompanied him in singing the psalms and canticles. The Vicar Fr. William Menezes, people and the choir joined in reciting the antiphons as in the Psalter for the day. They joined in singing psalms and ‘Magnificat’ too. After the Scripture Reading, Dr. Fr. Ivan shared his deep reflections. He said, God is Eternal Truth and wisdom who can neither deceive nor be deceived. He appealed to us to live a truthful, honest life with this awareness that we can never deceive God. After the intercessions, the Benediction was followed.  The Vespers was concluded with a hymn in honour of Guardian Angel.

As a cultural and social event, the Angelore Youth presented a gracious dance. Various stalls of eatables games and to crown everything a game of Housie was conducted by the youth.
