The Paschal Triduum began with the celebration of the Eucharist on the evening of Maundy Thursday commemorating the Last Supper of Jesus Christ. Rev. Fr Fredrick Monteiro, Parish Priest, concelebrated the Holy Eucharist with Rev. Fr Stany Fernandes, Rev. Fr Naveen Pinto and Rev. Fr Dixon D’Souza. After the Eucharistic celebration the Blessed Sacrament was placed in the Altar of Repose, where the Faithful offered silent prayers.
On Good Friday, the Faithful participated in the Way of the Cross in the morning. In the evening the faithful participated in large number in the ceremony of Good Friday.
The Eucharistic celebration of Holy Saturday began outside the church with blessing the fire, followed by the liturgy of light and the celebration of the Resurrection. After the Holy Eucharist, the Catholic Sabha entertained the parishioners with Housie-House and Easter Egg auction.
