Being a social animal, man needs people around him to live a complete life. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, many people – including children – are left to fend for themselves. However, there is no dearth of people of kindness, who find joy in taking care of these orphans and destitute. Snehasadan, situated at Kinnikambla, is one such institute where orphaned children and adults on palliative care are taken care of.
Thirty-six members of St. Joseph Ward II visited Snehasadan on November 27, 2022. An entertainment programme was organised for the inmates by the ward members. Sr. Juliet took them to the grotto of Mother Mary at Rosa Mystica Convent and gave an elaborate account of the miracles that took place. Then she placed her hand on each and everyone and prayed for them.
From there the ward members visited Mrs. Irene Lobo, former resident of the ward, who currently lives at Kaikamba, where they spent some time in entertainment.
