The Secular Franciscan Order, Angelore, celebrated its fifth anniversary on 26th November 2022. The events commenced with the celebration of Holy Eucharist at 4.00 pm. The guests comprised Rev. Fr William Menezes, Spiritual Director and Parish Priest; Rev. Fr Lawrence Cutinha, Assistant Parish Priest; Rev. Fr. Prakash Lobo, Assistant Spiritual Director; Mr. Alwyn Monteiro, Regional President; Mrs. Lolina D’Souza, Secretary of the Parish Pastoral Council; and Mr. Roshan Patrao, Coordinator of 21 Commissions.
President of the Chapter, Mrs. Cynthia Rosario welcomed the guests and the gathered members. Secretary, Mrs. Sunitha D’Souza presented the annual report. In his message, Rev. Fr William Menezes said that prayer is the strongest weapon of a Catholic and prayer strengthens family. Rev. Fr Prakash Lobo said that prayerful life is a model to others. He wished well to the members in their future mission. A skit was played by the members to entertain the gathering while Mrs. Flossy Menezes conducted refreshing games. The winners were given prizes.
Mrs. Leena D’Souza gave the vote of thanks. Mrs. Benedicta Vas compèred the programme.
