The Catholic Church observes Priesthood Day on 4th August in honour of St. John Vianney, the patron saint of parish priests. Guardian Angel Church observed Priesthood Day on 2nd August 2026 after the 7.30 mass under the leadership of the Commission for Vocation and Formation. Convener of the Commission, Mr. Rajesh Misquith lauded the relentless service rendered by our Parish Priest Rev. Fr Fredrick Monteiro and Assistant Parish Priest Rev. Fr Avil Santhmayor in the spiritual development of the parishioners. As a token of gratitude, Mr. Rajesh Misquith presented a bouquet to the Parish Priest and Mrs. Diana Crasta presented a bouquet to the Assistant Parish Priest. Mr. Noel Pinto compèred the programme.
