Palm Sunday heralds the beginning of the Holy Week and commemorates the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. The crowds welcomed Jesus by waving palm leaves and laying cloaks on the way, thereby recognising Jesus as king.
Palm Sunday was celebrated at Guardian Angel Church on 29th March 2026. The blessing of palm leaves commenced at 7.45 PM at the Guardian Angel School ground. Thereafter the faithful proceeded to the Church for the Eucharistic celebration in procession led by Rev. Fr Naveen Pinto, the main celebrant and Rev. Fr Fredrick Monteiro and Rev. Fr Stany Fernandes. The members of Angelore Youth Movement led the liturgy.
