Day 1
It is monsoon and there is greenery around us with variety of flowers blooming. It is also the season of the feast of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary. Traditionally Mangalorean Catholics take part in the Novena offering flowers to Maria Bambina. Friday, 30th August marked the first day of the Novena. The theme of the day was “The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.” In the evening, despite cloudy weather, the church was brimming with the Faithful – both young and old. After the celebration of Holy Eucharist, children and adults gathered in front of the idol of Maria Bambina placed in front of the Grotto. They sang glory to Mother Mary and offered flowers. After offering the flowers, snacks were distributed to all gathered by the ward gurkars.
ಪಯ್ಲೊ ದೀಸ್
ಥೊಡೆ ದೀಸ್ ಪಯ್ಸ್ ಸರ್-ಲ್ಲೊ ಪಾವ್ಸ್ ಪರ್ತ್ಯಾನ್ ಸುರು ಜಾಲಾ, ಆಮ್ಚಾ ಭಂವ್ತಣಿ ಪೃಥ್ವಿ ಪಾಚ್ವ್ಯಾ ರಂಗಾನ್ ಭರೊನ್ ರಂಗಾಳ್ ಫುಲಾಂನಿ ಸೊಭ್ತಾ. ಸಾಂಗಾತಾಚ್ಚ್ ಹೊ ಕಾಳ್ ಮರ‍್ಯೆಚಾ ಜಲ್ಮಾಕ್ ತಯಾರಾಯ್ ಕರ‍್ಚೊ ಜಾವ್ನಾಸಾ. ನೊವೆನಾ ಮಾರಿಫಾತ್ ಬಾಳೊಕ್ ಮರ‍್ಯೆಕ್ ಮಾನ್ ಕರ‍್ಚಿ ಆನಿ ತಿಕಾ ಫುಲಾಂ ಅರ್ಪುಂಚಿ ಅಪುರ್ಬಾಯೆಚಿ ರಿವಾಜ್ ಮಂಗ್ಳುರ್ ಕಥೊಲಿಕ್ ಸಮಾಜೆಂತ್ ಸಬಾರ್ ವರ್ಸಾಂ ಥಾವ್ನ್ ಚಲೊನ್ ಆಯ್ಲ್ಯಾ. ಹ್ಯಾ ವರ್ಸಾ ಅಗೋಸ್ತ್ 30 ತಾರಿಕೆರ್ ಸುಕ್ರಾರಾ ಮರ‍್ಯೆಚಾ ಜಲ್ಮಾಚಾ ಫೆಸ್ತಾಚೆಂ ನೊವೆನ್ ಆರಂಭ್ ಜಾಲೆಂ. ಪಾವ್ಸಾಚಿಂ ಲಕ್ಷಣಾಂ ಆಸ್-ಲ್ಲಿಂ ತರೀ ಸಾಂಜೆರ್ ಇಗರ್ಜ್ ಫಿರ್ಗಜ್-ಗಾರಾಂನಿ ಭರೊನ್ ವೊಮ್ತಾತಾಲಿ. ಪಯ್ಲ್ಯಾ ದಿಸಾಚೊ ಸಂದೇಶ್ ಜಾವ್ನಾಸ್-ಲ್ಲೊ: ಪೃಥ್ವಿ ಸಗ್ಳಿ ಸರ್ವೆಸ್ಪರಾಚಾ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಿ ಜತ್ನೆನ್ ಭರ‍್ಲ್ಯಾ. ಮಿಸಾ ಉಪ್ರಾಂತ್ ಸರ್ವಾಂ ಗ್ರೊಟ್ಟ್ಯಾ ಮುಕಾರ್ ದವರ್-ಲ್ಲ್ಯಾ ಬಾಳೊಕ್ ಮರ‍್ಯೆಚಾ ಇಮಾಜಿ ಮುಕಾರ್ ಜಮ್ಲಿಂ ಆನಿ “ಸಕ್ಕಡ್ ಸಾಂಗಾತಾ ಮೆಳ್ಯಾಂ” ಗಾಯಾನಾ ಸವೆಂ ಮರ‍್ಯೆಕ್ ಫುಲಾಂ ಅರ್ಪಿಲಿಂ. ಉಪ್ರಾಂತ್ ಗುರ್ಕಾರಾಂಚಾ ಮುಖೆಲ್ಪಣಾರ್ ಸರ್ವಾಂಕ್ ಗೊಡ್ಶೆಂ ವಾಂಟ್ಲೆಂ.
Day 2
The theme for the second day of Novena was “Blessed the people the Lord has chosen to be his own.” Children and elders alike partook in the celebration of Holy Eucharist in large numbers. As it started raining as the Eucharistic celebration ended, the flowers were offered at the back of the church. The incessant rain failed to dampen the spirit of the Faithful, though. The members of Legion of Mary distributed snacks to the gathering.
ದುಸ್ರೊ ದೀಸ್
ನೊವೆನಾಚಾ ದುಸ್ರ್ಯಾ ದಿಸಾಚೊ ಸಂದೇಶ್ ಜಾವ್ನಾಸ್-ಲ್ಲೊ: ಸರ್ವೆಸ್ಪರಾನ್ ಆಪ್ಲೆಂ ದಾಯ್ಜ್ ಕರ್ನ್ ಘೆತ್ಲಾ ತೊ ಲೋಕ್ ಭಾಗಿ. ಸಾಂಜೆರ್ 5.00 ವರಾರ್ ವ್ಹಡ್ ಸಂಖ್ಯಾನ್ ಫಿರ್ಗಜ್-ಗಾರಾಂನಿ ಎವ್ಕರಿಸ್ತಾಚಾ ಬಲಿದಾನಾಂತ್ ವಾಂಟೊ ಘೆತ್ಲೊ. ಕಠೀಣ್ ಪಾವ್ಸ್ ಆಸ್-ಲ್ಲೊ ತರೀ ಭುರ್ಗ್ಯಾಂಚಿ ತಶೆಂಚ್ಚ್ ವ್ಹಡಾಂಚಿ ಹುಮೆದ್ ಉಣಿ ಜಾಂವ್ಕ್ ನಾತ್-ಲ್ಲಿ. ಮರ‍್ಯೆಕ್ ಫುಲಾಂ ಅರ್ಪಿಲ್ಲ್ಯಾ ಉಪ್ರಾಂತ್ ಮರ‍್ಯೆಚಾ ಲೀಜನಾಚಾ ಸಾಂದ್ಯಾಂನಿ ಜಮ್ಲೆಲ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಗೊಡ್ಶೆಂ ವಾಂಟ್ಲೆಂ.
Day 3
Being a Sunday, flowers to Maria Bambina were offered after the 9.30 a.m. mass. The theme of the day was “The one who does justice will live in the presence of the Lord.” Confessions were organised for the children in preparation for the Feast from 8.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. As customary, the Faithful gathered around the idol of Maria Bambina in front of the Grotto and offered flowers singing the Marian hymn. The members of the Parish Pastoral Council distributed the snacks.

ಆಯ್ತಾರಾ ಸಕಾಳಿಂ ಭುರ್ಗ್ಯಾಂಚಾ ಮಿಸಾ ಉಪ್ರಾಂತ್ ನೊವೆನಾ ಸವೆಂ ಬಾಳೊಕ್ ಮರ‍್ಯೆಕ್ ಫುಲಾಂ ಅರ್ಪಿಲಿಂ. ತ್ಯಾ ದಿಸಾಚೊ ಸಂದೇಶ್ ಜಾವ್ನಾಸ್-ಲ್ಲೊ: ಸರ್ವೆಸ್ಪರಾ, ತುಜಾ ಪವಿತ್ರ್ ತಂಬಾಂತ್ ವಸ್ತಿ ಕರುಂಕ್ ಕೊಣಾಕ್ ಫಾವೊ ಜಾಯ್ತ್? ಫೆಸ್ತಾಕ್ ತಯಾರಾಯ್ ಜಾವ್ನ್ ಭುರ್ಗ್ಯಾಂಕ್ 8.30 ಥಾವ್ನ್ 9.30 ವರಾಂ ಪರ್ಯಾಂತ್ ಕುಮ್ಸಾರಾಂ ಆಸ್-ಲ್ಲಿಂ. ಮಿಸಾ ಉಪ್ರಾಂತ್ ಗ್ರೊಟ್ಟ್ಯಾ ಮುಕಾರ್ ಭುರ್ಗ್ಯಾಂನಿ ಮರ‍್ಯೆಕ್ ಫುಲಾಂ ಅರ್ಪಿಲಿಂ. ಫಿರ್ಗಜ್ ಗೊವ್ಳಿಕ್ ಪರಿಷದೆಚಾ ಸಾಂದ್ಯಾಂನಿ ಜಮ್ಲೆಲ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಗೊಡ್ಶೆಂ ವಾಂಟ್ಲೆಂ.
