Nithyadar Ward I celebrated the feast of Nativity on Sunday, 11th September 2022. The programme was presided over by Rev. Fr. Lawrence Cutinha, Assistant Parish Priest; Gurkar Mr. Paul Rodrigues; Sr. Vinitha and Sr. Deena. The programme commenced with honouring Mother Mary with flowers. Guests were welcomed with flowers. Sr. Vinitha appreciated the unity of the members of the ward. She called the ward members to build their families with love and unity. Rev. Fr. Lawrence Cutinha lauded the camaraderie showed by the ward members in organising the programme
Mrs. Margaret Maria conducted the games. Little children presented their talents in the form of a story. The youth of the ward entertained the gathering with a beautiful dance. Elders presented a skit and a song. Games were organised for the young and the old alike. Prizes were given away to the winners.
Finally, everyone relished the traditional vegetarian meal of the feast that tastes best on the plantain leaf. Gurkar Mr. Paul Rodrigues welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Philomena Menezes presented the vote of thanks. Mrs. Tressy D’Costa compèred the programme.
