At 6 on the evening of September 10th, the members of St. Michael Ward I assembled at the residence of Mrs. Gladys Madtha to celebrate the feast of Nativity. The celebration commenced with the ward meeting. After the ward meeting, the celebration of Nativity ensued. Children of the ward sang the hymn “ನಮೋ ನಮೋ ಮರಿಯೆ” in honour of Mother Mary. Then the ward members offered flowers to Mother Mary singing “ಸಕ್ಕಡ್ ಸಾಂಗಾತಾ ಮೆಳ್ಯಾಂ”. Rev. Fr William Menezes, Parish Priest; Mr. Paul Rodrigues, Vice President of the PPC and Ms. Renita Menezes, Coordinator of 21 commissions were present. At the end of the celebration the ward members savoured the home-made vegetarian festival cuisine.
