The ward meeting of Gabriel Ward II was held on 20th November 2022 at 5.00 pm at the residence of Mr. Sunil Xavier. The election of ward representatives for 2023-25 was held during the meeting. Rev. Fr William Menezes, Parish Priest, conducted the election.
Gurkar of the ward Mrs. Juliet D’Souza welcomed the Parish Priest and the ward members. Rev. Fr William Menezes read out the rules and regulations of the election process.
Mr. Eugene Lobo and Mrs. Wilma Fernandes were elected ward representatives. Mr. Bernard D’Souza was elected the Aanj representative.
The election was followed by regular ward meeting. The responsibility of searching names of the electorate in the ward in the voters’ list was delegated.
Mr. Bernard D’Souza thanked the ward members for their active participation in the election process and the ward meeting.
