Fourteen children of our parish received the First Holy Communion on May 5th, 2019 in the presence of the parish clergy, parents and well-wishers. Dressed in white gowns and suits they stepped into the portals of the church along with their parents.
They were very much delighted in leading the liturgy of the day. They sang hymns, thanked God for the unconditional love of Jesus through the Holy Eucharist. The Eucharistic celebration was led by Rev. Fr William Menezes, parish priest and concelebrated by Rev. Fr Denzil Lobo. The choir helped the congregation to take active part in the liturgy of the first communion.
Towards the end of the Mass, Rev. Fr William thanked the teachers Sr Prasanna for catechising the first communicants prior to the celebration.
We congratulate the children of our parish for successfully achieving another religious milestone in their journey of faith.
