On 14th May 2023, the Angelore Youth Movement held a farewell programme to Rev. Fr Lawrence Cutinha after the 7.30 a.m. mass. Parish Priest Rev. Fr William Menezes presided over the programme. Mr. Shaun Clitus D'Sa, President of AYM and Ms. Bindu Cutinha, Secretary of AYM were present on the dais.
The programme began with a prayer song by the AYM members. Mr. Shaun Clitus D'Sa welcomed the gathering. Ms. Melisha Sony Pinto presented an account of her experience as AYM member and shared her appreciation for Rev. Fr Lawrence Cutinha. In his presidential address, Rev. Fr William Menezes also addressed the crowd, urging AYM members to attend meetings regularly and expressed his gratitude to Rev. Father Lawrence Cutinha for his unwavering support to AYM.
Rev. Fr Lawrence Cutinha in his address thanked Rev. Fr William Menezes for his encouragement and constant support and reflected on his time spent with the AYM members. A short video was presented by Mr. Sohan Christopher D'Sa and Mr. Joywin Cutinha along with a farewell song, showcasing the invaluable moments shared by Rev. Fr Lawrence Cutinha with AYM members. As a token of love, AYM presented him with a bouquet and a memento.
After the formal programme, a dance was performed by the AYM members. A few games were also conducted to entertain the gathering. Ms. Olivia Solomon proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Shainy Manisha Pinto compèred the programme.
