The YCS Unit of Guardian Angel Church took the imitative of organising the Environment Cleanliness Drive on 4th September 2022 at 3.00 pm along with all the parishioners in preparation for the upcoming feast of Nativity of Mother Mary. The cleanliness drive comprised of cleaning the church and the cemetery.
The effervescent YCS members, bubbling with infinite energy cleaned the cemetery. Not to be left behind, the Altar Servers cleaned the sacristy. The equally energetic seniors, comprising the youth and the elderly alike participated in thorough cleaning of the church and the premises.
While the elders savoured snacks and tea to relinquish the lost energy, the children relished their favourite ice cream. The entire activity was coordinated by Rev. Fr. Willaim Menezes, Parish Priest and Rev. Fr. Lawrence Cutinha, Assistant Parish Priest along with members of the Parish Pastoral council.
