ELOCUTION COMPETITION

Catholic Sabha is the laity association that strives to create social and political awareness in the Catholic community. One of its objectives is to form leaders and to fulfil this objective, it conducts elocution competition in all its units every October.

The elocution competition of the Angelore Unit was held on Sunday, 29^th October 2023 at the Golden Jubilee Memorial Hall. The competition commenced at 10 a.m. Thirty-two participants from Kindergarten up to PUC across five categories participated in the competition. Mrs. Benny D’Cunha and Mrs. Pramila D’Sa – both from the Derebail unit – were the judges.

There were three prizes in each category and the first two winners will participate in the Deanery level competition to be on November 19, 2023.

The category-wise winners are as follows:

Category 1: Up to 2^nd standard
