The election of the office bearers to the Parish Council for the period 2023-25 was held on 11th December 2022 at 4.30 pm. The election was held to the posts of Vice President and Secretary of the Parish Pastoral Council, Coordinator of 21 commissions, members to the Finance Committee and representative to the Diocesan Pastoral Council.
Parish Priest, Rev. Fr William Menezes in his introductory address wished suitable persons elected to the respective posts and new chapter started in the history of the parish. Rev. Fr Lawrence Cutinha led a short prayer.
The Parish Priest read out the names of all eligible persons. He also read out the guidelines for the election. The election to all posts was conducted by two-stage secret ballot.
The following persons were elected:
Vice President of the PPC: Mr. Paul Rodrigues
Secretary to the PPC: Mrs. Lolina D’Souza
Coordinator of 21 commissions: Ms. Renita Menezes
Members of the Finance Committee: Mr. Noel Pinto, Mrs. Jacintha Pinto and Mr. Felix Moras
Representative to Diocesan Pastoral Council: Mr. Joachim Cutinha
