Christmas Sauhardha Sambrama 2018. To mark the festival of Christmas.
The celebration took place at the residence of Mr. Jacob Moras on 23nd of December 2018 at 6:30 PM. The Members of Gabriel III ward, of the Guardian Angel Church Angelore organized this celebration. The people of different religions from all over the locality attended the programme.
The Asst. Parish priest Rev Fr Denzil Lobo presided over the function. The MLA of Mangalore South Mr Vedavyasa Kamath was the guest of honour. The Corporator of the area Mr. Praveen Chandra Alva, Mr. K Devendra, the Managing Trustee of Mahalingeshwara temple, Kankanady, Sr Celine Mendonca, Superior of the Capitanio Convent, Mr. Roshan Patrao and Mrs. Dora Rodrigues, the vice President and Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council and Mrs. Jyothi Dias were present.
Mr. Vedavyas in his address gave a call that we must break the walls that divide the society. Mr. JR Lobo said that real meaning of Christmas is to meet the needs of the poor and the downtrodden. Fr Denzil Lobo in his address said that we must look for Jesus in the brethren around us.
Sumptuous fellowship meal was followed by a meaningful Christmas skit, Dance and Christmas Carols.
Mrs. Shanthi Moras compered the programme. wThe ard leader Mr. Ron Michael Vas proposed the vote of thanks.
