Catechism Day Celebration-2019
The Annual Catechism Day Celebration was meaningfully celebrated on Sunday, 24th of February with the Eucharistic Celebration at 9:30 a.m. During the Mass, thanksgiving prayers offered to the Triune God for bestowing the Blessing throughout the year. The Liturgy was led by the children and all took active participation in the Eucharistic banquet.
The second part of the celebration was held in our Church Hall. Children from different classes performed various value based programmes to the audience. Olinca compered the entire cultural programme. Kim Noronha welcomed the dignitaries. Wencita Dias and Sr Prasanna shared their experience. Coordinator of the Sunday Catechism Sr Lorna presented a brief annual report of Catechism Classes. The prizes were distributed to several meritorius students of our parish. Rev Fr William Menezes, parish priest congratulated all the children for deepening their faith through Sunday catechism classes and thanked the teachers for their selfless service to the Church. Nerissa Crasta and Gladlin Mascarenhas proposed vote of thanks.
