Come September and there is festive mood in the Parish. In the run up to the feast of Guardian Angel, various preparations are kick-started. The Parish Pastoral Council gets into action mode making elaborate preparations for the Feast. This year is no different. As last week of September closed in, there was fervent activity in the church premises. Some parishioners volunteered to clean the church; others beautified the church with decorative shawls. The youth of YCS and AYM were busy making final arrangements for their respective stalls on the day of Vespers and the Feast.
The celebration of Confraternity Sunday began on 28th September 2025 with the celebration of Holy Eucharist at 5.30 pm. Rev. Fr Rohith D’Costa, Director of Mangala Jyothi, the Diocesan Biblical, Catechetical and Liturgical Centre along with Rev. Fr Fredrick Monteiro, Rev. Fr Stany Fernandes and Rev. Fr Naveen Pinto. The mass concluded with the adoration of the Holy Eucharist.
Procession of the Holy Eucharist from Angelore to Capitanio School ground followed the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Mr Paul Rodrigues, Vice President of the PPC led the procession. The Faithful partook in the procession singing praise to the Lord aided by the children’s brass band of the Parish and Joy Star Band, Katipalla. The procession ended with the blessing of the Holy Eucharist.
