The members of Fatima Ward celebrated Christmas at the residence of Mr. Francis and Mrs. Gracy Lobo. The programme started with the ward meeting. Rev. Fr William Menezes, Parish Priest and Rev. Fr Lawrence Cutinha were the guests of the programme. Gurkar Mrs. Avitha Misquith welcomed the guests with roses.
The newly elected ward representatives to the Parish Pastoral Council and Finance Committee were honoured by the Parish Priest. Mrs. Jacintha Pinto, Mr. Francis Lobo and Sr. Lorna entertained the gathering with various games. The prizes to the winners were given by the Parish Priest. The sisters taught an action song to the gathering. Mrs. Stella Fernandes and team presented a dance based on Christmas carols. Another dance was presented by Ms. Sansia Fernandes and team. The members of AYM and YCS also entertained the gathering with Christmas Carols. The Parish Priest appreciated the ward members for organising the Christmas programme beautifully despite having a small number of families. Mrs. Jacintha Pinto proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with dinner.
