“Play is the highest form of research for a child, where laughter is the language and imagination knows no bounds”. The quote emphasizes the profound significance of play in a child's life. Through games and laughter, children engage in a form of exploration and experimentation that is fundamental to their development. Play is not just a frivolous activity but a vital tool for learning, socialization, and the cultivation of creativity. It allows children to navigate the world, understand social dynamics, and unleash the limitless potential of their imagination. In the realm of games, children not only find joy but also acquire essential life skills, making each playful moment a valuable chapter in their journey of growth.
The Parish Pastoral Council of Guardian Angel Church, Angelore, organized a variety of games for the children of the Parish on November 12, 2023, as part of Children's Day. The games were held at Golden Jubilee Memorial Hall, Mini Hall and Guardian Angel School. The event was designed exclusively for children in grades one through ten, providing a day full of fun, and memorable experiences.
After the mass, children participated enthusiastically in various games such as musical chair, bursting the balloon, picture puzzle, cup stacking, dice games and so on. Angelore Youth Movement gave a helping hand in conducting the games, exemplifying the unity and support. Refreshments were also served to the children.
