CHILDREN’S DAY 2022

“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” is an old, yet timeless proverb. While today’s fast-paced lifestyle gives little time for children to play, we cannot deny the fact that watching children play with their peers is a sight worth beholding – apart from providing an avenue for them to channel their energy. Keeping this in mind, the Angelore Youth Movement organised various games to the children of the parish on 20th November 2022 as part of Children’s Day.

Following the mass, children from first to tenth standard participated enthusiastically in various games such as musical chair, bursting the balloon, bomb the city, passing the ring etc. Attractive prizes were given to the winners. Prizes were distributed by Rev. Fr William Menezes, Parish Priest and Rev. Fr Lawrence Cutinha, Assistant Parish Priest. The prizes and gifts were sponsored by Ashok and Vinitha D’Souza of St. Joseph's Ward II. Refreshments were also served to the children.
