The curtains were drawn on the Catechism Year 2023-24 on 3rd March 2024 with the Catechism Day. The children from 1st to 10th standard celebrated the Holy Eucharist thanking Lord God for His blessings throughout the year. After the Holy Eucharist a valedictory programme was organised in the Golden Jubilee Memorial Hall.
The programme commenced with a prayer song by the students of 10th standard. This was followed by several cultural events by the children of various classes. A brief state programme was held in between the cultural programme. Rev. Fr Jerald Francis Pinto, Socius Priest, read the report of the past year. In his Presidential message Rev. Fr William Menezes called upon the children to follow the footsteps of Jesus. The children who stood first and second in the catechism exam were given away the prizes as were those who had 100% attendance. Along with Rev. Fr William Menezes and Rev. Fr Jerald Pinto, Mr. Paul Rodrigues, Vice President of the PPC; Mrs. Lolina D’Souza, Secretary of the PPC; and Ms. Renita Menezes, Coordinator of 21 Pastoral Commissions were present on the stage. The programme concluded with sumptuous meals and juice.
Ms. Reema Mahima Pinto welcomed the gathering. Ms. Melora Monteiro compèred the programme.
