The Angelore Youth Movement along with Holy Bible Committee organized inter-ward ‘Bible Quiz 2021’ for the parishioners of Guardian Angel Church, Angelore on Sunday 7 November 2021 at 4.30 pm. Rev. Fr. William Menezes Parish priest and Rev. Fr. Lawrence Cutinha -Assistant Parish priest along with Parish Vice President Mr. Noel Pinto and Secretary Mrs. Lolina D’Souza were present.
The programme commenced with prayer song from the youths of A.Y.M. Ms. Megha were the host for the day. A.Y.M President Ms. Melisha Sony Pinto welcomed the gathering. Rev.Fr. Antony Prakash Monteiro was the quiz master for the day. Rev. Fr. William Menezes congratulated the parishioners for participating in the quiz and gave a short introduction about the quiz master for the day.
13 wards actively participated in the written quiz out of which 10 wards got selected for the next stage. A total of 10 rounds were held for the 10 wards which included oral as well as visual rounds. Rev. Fr. William Menezes announced the results. First place was bagged by St. Gabriel 2 ward, second place by Fathima ward and third place by St. Gabriel 3 ward. Ms. Alisha proposed the vote of thanks.
