The Catholic Sabha organised an awareness programme on government schemes for minorities on the morning of 2nd August 2026 for the members of Catholic Sabha, children and youth, and their parents at the Church Mini Hall.
The information on various government schemes for the students and general public was given by the resource person Mr. Mohammad Nazeer, Minorities Department, Government of Karnataka and Mr. Joachim D’Souza, Community Development Convener, City Deanery, Catholic Sabha.
Mr. Nazeer gave elaborate information on the scholarships and education loans given by the government to the students. He also provided information on the documents required to avail those facilities and how to obtain them. At the end of the programme the Mr. Nazeer and Mr. Joachim answered the questions of the audience and cleared their doubts.
