The members of Angelore Youth Movement, Guardian Angel Church Angelore visited the Jeevadaan Ashram to observe National Youth Day in a unique way on Sunday, 28th August 2022 at Gurpur.
Jeevadaan Ashram is the centre run by the Sisters of St. Camillus Congregation known for caring of the sick and the poor. They provide care and support to abandoned women and children infected by HIV/AIDS.
Thirty-five members of AYM, along with Rev. Fr Lawrence Cutinha, Assistant Parish Priest, visited the ashram and spent around two-and-a-half hours with the inmates. They organised various games and entertained the inmates through action songs, dance and singing. The children of the ashram accorded a warm welcome through a welcome song and also presented a dance.
The programme was concluded by distributing snacks to the inmates.
