Second of November has a special place in the Catholic Church. It is the day on which we remember the departed souls of our family. On the occasion of All Souls’ Day, three masses were celebrated in the parish: 6.30 a.m., 8.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m.
After the 6.30 a.m. mass, the parishioners proceeded to the cemetery where their loved ones were laid to rest, which they had decorated with a variety of colourful flowers and candles. Rev. Fr William Menezes led the prayer service, after which the cemetery was blessed.
