2nd November is a special day in the life of every Faithful. On that day, we observe All Souls’ Day. We offer mass, remember our beloved ones who have departed, and pray for the repose of their soul.
The All Souls’ Day was observed on 2nd November 2022 at Guardian Angel Church, Angelore, with great devotion. Three masses were offered – 6.30 a.m., 8.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m.
After the 6.30 a.m. mass, the cemetery was blessed. The parishioners assembled in the cemetery around the place where their beloved departed were interred, decorated with flowers and burning candles. After a short prayer service the cemetery was purified with holy water by Rev. Fr. William Menezes, Parish Priest and Rev. Fr. Lawrence Cutinha, Assistant Parish Priest.
